ISIS Xpress is reporting that no scanners are found. But, my device is connected and running. What could cause this?

If you have a functioning scanner that's not being found by ISIS Xpress, there's a good possibility that the support libraries that the toolkit uses have not been properly deployed.

In addition to the main toolkit DLL, there are some other files stored in the following sub-folders in the SDK install:

  • PixTran - Copy the files from this folder over to the %WINDIR%/Pixtran directory (ex: "C:\windows\pixtran")
  • SysDir - Copy the files from this folder over to the %SYSTEM32% directory (ex: "C:\windows\syswow64")

No system restart is needed and you should be able to re-run your ISIS Xpress application immediately to now have the scanner be found.
