How to License Barcode Xpress in Docker on Linux Machines Without Java?

Modified on Wed, Nov 6, 2024 at 5:02 PM

When deploying Barcode Xpress .NET Core in a Docker environment on Linux, the licensing setup depends on your license type. For node-locked licenses, the Server License Utility (SLU) tool is needed, which requires Java (JRE) to register the license for each specific machine.

Alternatively, if you prefer to avoid using JRE, an OEM license might be an option to consider, as it requires only three Barcode Xpress methods to be configured at runtime with your solution name, solution keys, and OEM license key. However, please note that OEM licensing follows a different deployment process, so it may depend on your setup and licensing arrangement.
