Why is the hardware key field at https://licensing.accusoft.com/ not automatically populating?

Despite following the steps on https://help.accusoft.com/PrizmDoc/v13.28/HTML/node-locked-licensing.html to get a node-locked license but when they follow the link they got from the command line the hardware key field is not automatically filled in like the screenshot shows.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

This can be caused by the link being processed by other programs (such as outlook) before being used. This will cause the link to not automatically populate the hardware key field.

However, the link should still contain the required key as an argument in the URL. Pasting everything in the URL after the question mark into the hardware key field and then submitting should still allow the customer to retrieve their key.
